Sometimes our clients like to pay the tradesmen directly, but still have their project managed by an experienced general contractor. This is a service that gives the client more direct control of the entire process but ensures that there is a qualified Construction Manager there to make sure that each step is completed and documented properly. With all of the things that can go wrong on a construction project, it can be very beneficial to have a very experienced Construction Manager on your side, managing the process with your tradesmen, managing supplies, and so on. Many clients like the hands on control when managing their renovation projects, but it can never hurt to have an experienced professional in your corner with a trained set of eyes and ears.
In a typical construction management project, we provide a project manager that will oversee all of the construction tasks. Starting with making sure that you are hiring sub-contractors and trades that have experience in the type of work that you are engaging in, to making sure their insurance paperwork is in order. Additionally, we can help you find and select these trades from our pool of experienced craftsmen.
We will execute all of the contracts between the owners and subcontractors and collect all of the necessary insurance certificates from all of the trades. In these cases, we also work alongside the designer and architect to ensure that all of the specifications are adhered to, and the quality of the craftsmanship is executed at the highest level.
